Near the side of a road with mother and father, we three are all cats. The road boarders a small pond or riverway with a stretch of green between the road and river. This is where mother and I sit. Father is sitting in the road, a bit in the lane on the wrong side of the white border line. I hear a car approaching and move towards father warning him. He leaps across the grass, diving into the water and reappears with a fish in his jaws bigger than his own body.

Last night dreampt [how do you spell that?] drempt. dreamt. Had parked my car near the ocean and climbed a hill, through some houses, up another hill, met some folks and walked furthur uphill. The ocean roared and the waves crashed at our feet, hundreds of feet above sea level. The water receedes and I go to check on my car, hoping the windows are closed and it is protected by an airtight seal. I find the car intact and hold it in the palm of my hand as I again begin the ascent. The waves are reapproaching so I cling to a nearby patch of trees for support. Climbing back through the houses the passageways are narrower this time [perhaps they shrank b/c of the water?]. I realize the dream and simply push the passages wide enough to pass. This will not be a dream where I am trapped in an ever narrowing passage, I've got things to do. The car still in my hand I find my friends. One of them slips his arm tenderly around my waist.
